Biden OPTs to Keep Cheap Labor Scheme Going Unchecked

A fraud-prone employment program involving practically a half-million international college students is having fun with a free trip as of late. Days after taking workplace, President Joe Biden aborted efforts to step up regulation of the federal government’s little identified and largely unsupervised Elective Sensible Coaching (OPT) system.

No enforcement actions have been reported since October 2020, when the Division of Homeland Safety (DHS) introduced that some 1,100 OPT individuals would have their permits revoked.
