The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs and Sorbonne Nouvelle University are pleased to be involved in the organization of La Fabrique de la Diplomatie, a landmark event at the start of the diplomatic year on 5 and 6 September 2025.
The first La Fabrique de la Diplomatie is taking place at Sorbonne Nouvelle University’s Nation campus. Organized with the Diplomatic and Consular Academy over two days and in more than 150 specially equipped spaces, the event will allow the general public to take part in over 100 hours of debates, in games simulating negotiations and in meetings with diplomats who have very varied backgrounds and experiences.
Entry is unrestricted and free of charge, and no registration is required.
Showcasing the richness and diversity of careers geared to international affairs, La Fabrique de la Diplomatie is primarily aimed at younger generations, to allow them to get hands-on experience of the machinery of foreign policy in direct contact with all those who put it into practice.
La Fabrique de la Diplomatie, hosted by the Ministry and Sorbonne Nouvelle University, can therefore rely on unprecedented efforts by all our foreign-policy stakeholders: institutional players, international organizations, the private sector, the academic world, civil society, artists, and those implementing France’s external action.
